Send places from Google Maps to your Android Device
Recently Google introduced a new feature for the Google map lovers. Tons of people out there are fond of locating different places on Google maps, either on their laptops or their mobile devices. With the introduction of the street view, its always fun to search for new places we haven’t been to. The concept of GPS has also played an integral part in our lives, allowing us to navigate peacefully and without fear to any corner of our country.
Very frequently we search for different places around the vicinity we stay in, on Google maps available on our computers and laptops. What if we decide to go and explore the new place we have found and unfortunately we do not know how to get there? Well Google comes to our rescue here. You can now send the place you have just found on your computer/laptop to your Android device. To avail of this benefit, you must make sure you are signed into Google maps on your computer as well as your Android phone with the same account.
How to use it?
At the outset, type the place you magically found and appreciated on the search bar at the top left corner of your screen. Now you’ve decided to visit the place you just found. Right below the search bar you will find a ‘send to device’ option. Simultaneously make sure you have signed into the Google maps app on your phone with the same account you used on Google maps on your computer. Click the ‘send to device’ option and the location you have selected will sync to your android phone. Once you have received it on your phone, you can use the GPS and get a navigational route to your selected destination.
Now explore your dreams and travel freely.
